The central part of the rug is dominated by a repeating ogee pattern, inspired by the pinjrakari design of traditional Kashmiri architecture, each featuring a detailed floral medallion inside. The top and bottom of the rug are decorated with a band of leaf or petal shapes, adding a finishing touch to this ornate piece.
